Art on the Atlanta BeltLine is a juried, public art exhibition aimed at engaging artists, bringing Atlantans into the BeltLine corridor, merging art with landscape and ensuring that the Atlanta BeltLine is enjoyed by all.
We're on the verge of announcing the 2022-2023 Art on the Atlanta BeltLine Exhibition artists, but we need your help! Take a moment to provide feedback on the shortlisted artists, and let us know what you think may be a good fit for our communities around the BeltLine.
The feedback form will remain open until 8 am on August 12, 2022, so check it out and share with your friends and neighbors.

AoAB Community Feedback Spanning roughly twelve miles of the 22-mile corridor on the west, south, and east sides of Atlanta, Art on the Atlanta BeltLine strives to make art accessible to all. Have you seen the new iteration of Tiny Door 13? Reflecting the original installation's classic 6-panel door style and bright pink color, this new piece by includes sculptural dogwood, as a nod to its current location, and augmented reality features. Be on the look out for this beauty the next time you're out on the trail!
More on Tiny Door 13:
Tiny Door 13 was originally installed under the Virginia Avenue Bridge and quickly became a fan-favorite. It was removed due to renovations of the space.
We just can't get enough of Tiny Door 12 reimagined! Created by with the input of local, young residents from and , the new installation incorporates their inspiration of musicโdepicting a classic boombox-- and also features their artistic representations of the West End neighborhood through augmented reality.
The American Dream Series by is one of the most recent sculptures to make an appearance on the Atlanta BeltLine. Part of the 2021-2022 Art on the Atlanta BeltLine exhibition, it invites viewers to ask questions about identity, sanctuary, hope and home.
Find some reprieve from the sun in the shaded nook of Enfold Pavilion. This interactive art installation by and Farhaan Samnani provides a personal space for people to interact, pause and reflect.
We're so excited to have Tiny Door 5 back on the Atlanta BeltLine and reimagined! Created by , in collaboration with with special support from , this beauty highlight's Atlanta's tree canopy and adds to the charm of the Stumpery Garden.
More about door 5:
Tiny Door 5 was originally installed in collaboration with Trees Atlanta in 2015. It was retired after the location inside of a living oak tree became unsustainable. The orange color of the door is inspired by the original design, and the acorn encapsulating the door acknowledges the importance of its natural surroundings.
You may have seen Dingbat on the Eastside Trail, but have you stopped to look at it closely? Taking industrial metal castoffs to make his abstract sculptures, lets his work tell a bit of his story, while leaving enough ambiguity in the work so views can make their own interpretations. So what is your interpretation?
Tiny Door 6 is back and oh so fun! recently installed this revamped piece on a cheerful, three-dimensional bench across from its original location on the Paris on Ponce building. Take a seat (and a photo) and enjoy this newest addition to the Art on the Atlanta BeltLine exhibition!
Public art adds beauty to our city. It draws attention to places and spaces previously unnoticed or under-appreciated. It brings people together and encourages them to ponder-- the piece, the place, or the world we share-- in new ways. Sometimes it's fun to bask in the mystery, and other times, it's rewarding to learn the story behind the art.
One of the latest works to appear on the Atlanta BeltLine is The Fates on the Ormewood Avenue Bridge. Artist Drew Borders was inspired by the women in her family. She recently gave a talk on site and invited the community to participate in a Family Art Day, leaving the names of people who've inspired them attached in ribbons on the bridge.

Tiny Doors are back on the BeltLine, and better than ever! Did you know that Tiny Door 1 was the very first installation, originally located on the Krog Street Tunnel? The new Tiny Door 1 may have changed locations, but its new design reflects its origins and even sports a tiny tiny door! Go see it for yourself, and don't forget to check out its new AR feature.

Join Art on the Atlanta BeltLine for a special conversation with Scholar-in-Residence, Anicka Austin. During this virtual chat, Anicka will introduce her research and invite dialogue with attendees about performance art and dance in Atlanta's public spaces.
gaze, time-travel, and the unknown: contemporary site-specific performance in Atlanta's public spaces is research resulting from letter-writing, observation, and interviews about how we use embodiment to make sense of our public spaces and collective histories. Through archival studies and sense-making methodology developed from the library and information science field, the work aims to give language to the unseen exchanges that happen between Southern landscapes, artists, and spectators. Exchanges that stay with us and influence our ways of knowing and being. The research is underscored by a hope that imaginative reconstructions of history, place, and autobiography through performance have the power to initiate radical social transformation.

Letters in Transit is a pop-up letter writing station along the BeltLine on April 29th, 3-6pm under the Lucile Avenue Bridge and April 30th, 11-2pm near the Ponce City Market trestle. BeltLine travelers can take a moment of intentional pause to exchange a story via written letter. Letters, signed anonymously or not and addressed to the recipient of the traveler's choice, are deposited into a mailbox at the pop-up. Insights from correspondents will be used as part of research exploring the question: how does the moving body in public space make meaning, shape and abstract time, and connect with story and people across generations?
Letters from Letters in Transit are being added to a pool of correspondence gathered by Art on the Atlanta BeltLine Scholar-in-Residence, Anicka Austin, as research into the way we learn and perceive through performance and everyday gesture in public space.
What's the story behind the sculpture? Hear from artist and sculptor Judith Hoffman as she shares about thenewest sculpture in her series, "The American Dream" on the Atlanta BeltLine.
