What are Learning Pods?
Learning Pods are offered throughout our MicroSchool network and provide Virtual Learners with a safe environment to study away from home.
Our Learning Pods will not exceed 8 Students. They will receive invaluable supervision and support from a dedicated Learning Coordinator.

Lego® Engineering & STEM Camp

March 2-6
April 6-10

Ages 3-7
$50/day $210/week

Students will explore aspects of engineering by constructing cranes and other machines, develop math, and improve their language skills by constructing familiar places and much more… Students will also learn about the basic concepts of science to help them become more confident and proficient in today’s world. Each day, students will conduct experiments and engage in multi-sensory activities to help provide them with first-hand knowledge experiences.

Pure Tennis: Tennis Tots Camp

Ages 3-7
$50/day $225/week

This program introduces the exciting game of tennis to children. Constant activity, colorful teaching aids, exercises and fun games help keep children stimulated. This program teaches team work while improving concentration and motor learning development. First timers will work on tennis stroke fundamentals and enhancement skills of the forehand, backhand, approach shot, volley, serve and return of serve.

Sports FUNdamentals Camp

March 2-6
April 6-10

Ages 3-6
$50/day $200/week

A great way to introduce your child to the foundations of sports in a fun, noncompetitive way. Kids will learn the techniques of throwing, catching, kicking and dribbling with a variety of balls as well as swinging a bat. Sports that are covered are t-ball, football, basketball and soccer.

Atlanta Youth Rugby Junior Ruggers Camp:

April 6-10
Ages 4-8
$250.

Come get an early exposure to one of the fastest growing sports in the United States. Learn fun fundamentals, body control, character traits and have a blast with our expert coaching staff! Camp is non-contact with a focus on evasive running, passing, catching and flag pulling. No experience necessary.

TinyTykes Soccer Camp

March 2-6
April 6-10

Ages 3-6
$160

An innovative program, created by childcare specialists that introduces children aged 3 to 6-years to the basic skills of soccer. Our modules use fundamental soccer activities, games and stories to develop their skills in balance, agility and coordination, technical skills, gross motor skills, physical development, social skills, self-confidence, and teamwork.

Coping with separation anxiety.

"If your child struggles with separation or new situations. Perhaps going to school, nursery, a friends house, then this is perhaps something you could try.

My daughter gets quite anxious in various situations; one of them being on rainy days at school last year. As much as she was supported and reassured she still struggled to cope during indoor wet playtimes. One rainy morning during the last school year she started to feign sickness and was very upset. We talked about it and no amount of reassurance helped.

I drew a heart and a sunshine on my hand and explained to my daughter that if I drew one on hers too, that at anytime she felt sad or worried during the day she could look at it and know that I had one on my hand too, that we were connected, that I was thinking about her, that she was safe and that even though it was raining, the sunshine was still shining on her hand and in her heart.

My daughters tears literally turned into a smile immediately. She felt safe, happy and secure.

Little anchors like this are a great way to stabilise feelings of anxiety and keep a connection throughout the day. Great for a first day at school or on those wobbly days.

If you have a child who is worried it may wash off when they wash their hands, then you can always draw it on the wrist."
