While pregnancy and childbirth can be an exciting and celebratory time for mothers and families, PMADs can have profound adverse effects on the women, children, and their family's mental, physical, and emotional health. Join us as we discuss common perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and also look at effective screening tools to utilize.

*Asking for help is never weak
*Acknowledging you are having a hard time is the first step in being mentally healthy.
*Toxic positivity is real... Pretending to be Ok is just putting a bandaid on the problem.
*If someone says they are not ok, offer resources and support such as a therapist, doctor, or attending a support group.

In 2020, photographer Tobias Baumgaertner captured this heartwarming moment between two penguins in Melbourne, Australia.

Night after night, these two penguins could be seen comforting each other after losing their partners. The duo would stand atop a rock gazing into the Melbourne skyline.

So think to yourself; Who can you reach out to today? Who can you check in on today? Who might need the comfort of a friend today?

Don't wait. The best time is right now.

Cleaning is not about perfection, it's about progress. Cleaning your house is a never-ending task, but the joy of a clean space is timeless. Cleaning is not a punishment; it's an act of self-respect. Cleaning is an investment in your physical and mental well-being.

Sometimes the first step to feelings better is a clean environment. We believe that your external environment is affected by your internal feelings. So we want to help you start fresh.

We pledge to contribute to the solution. But we can’t do it alone. Your donations, no matter the size, help us continue to serve our community and fix disparities, reach out to youth, and provide programs to all ages.
