Erin Fuse Brown, associate professor of law talks to NPR about a case that canceled the CDC's transportation mask mandate.
"If one of my students turned in this opinion as their final exam, I don't know if I would agree that they had gotten the analysis correct," said Brown.

Shannan Young (J.D. ’23) has been participating in Georgia State Law’s Health Legislation and Advocacy course, observing current changes in the Georgia General Assembly and tracking health related bills. Young believes this course ties to her former service as Social Action Director for the Southern Region of the Black Law Student Association, allowing her to inform students about legislative changes and what they may face as future attorneys. This upcoming year, Young will serve as Chair of SRBLSA and hope to continue to educate students about the legislative process and the role of an attorney as social engineers for their communities.
“My favorite thing about GSU Law is all the resources that are provided inside and outside the classroom,” says Young. “From the professors that are easy to access and willing to make themselves available, to the programming curated, and the multitude of alumni connections, one of the best decisions I have made this far in terms of education.”
