Join us in celebrating Black Business Month. The value of entrepreneurship has long been a major influence in the Black community, making it an essential contributor to the nation’s economy. This month represents National Black Business Month. This historic annual event provides a chance for consumers and proprietors to not only support Black businesses but provide them a platform to grow their enterprises and build wealth for current and future generations of African Americans.

AIC is definitely NOT all work and no play. This past Saturday, we held our monthly meeting with a Cinco De Mayo theme. We got a lot of work done, but also enjoyed eating, drinking, and socializing with each other. We even welcomed one new member.

Hello everyone. AIC's Outreach Committee is currently looking into African-American Iowa based non-profit agencies/programs that we can possibly support in our outreach activities. Preferably, these would be those that focus on youth and low-income families. If you have any recommendations, please list them in this post.
