Part of the Yamas and Niyamas. Ahimsa (Non-violence) and Satya (Truthfulness) are 2 of 10 ethical tenets in yoga. They are often paired together because practiced in tandem they center compassionate honesty.
Like the characters Whis and Beerus they balance each other. Often seen as passive (yet anything but) Ahimsa, like Whis holds a quiet power. One that does not need to boast. Satya if practiced without regard, like Beerus is a destructive force. One that can destroy planets. Together they bring more balance to the universe.
Ahimsa keeps Satya from being a tool of brutality, while Satya makes Ahimsa more than a passive cop-out. Together they call on you to do no harm while you say it with your whole chest.

It’s an honor to hold space for . This session really moved the needle for our group. It takes real intention to love yourself. Even more to unlearn all the ways we do the opposite. Shoutout to for his amazing facilitation. Thank you to for creating this powerful organization.
