Meet Daniel Smith! Our first summer intern! Daniel has been volunteering with the Chastain Park Conservancy for years through his group at YMSL and started his summer internship with us this summer. Meet Jay Smith: This Year’s Golf Chastain Honoree

The Golf Chastain tournament is a cherished event that honors the memory of Ray Mock, a man who loved golf, history, and the Chastain Park Conservancy. Ray Mock was one of the founding members of the Chastain Park Conservancy. Each year, the tournament selects a nominee who embodies these values. This year, Jay Smith has been chosen for this esteemed recognition. Jay served on the Chastain Park Conservancy board from 2008 to 2018. We recently met with Jay, and he shared why Chastain Park and golf both mean so much to him.

We are excited to announce the first of a series of FREE classes for kids at the farm!

Join us April 21 at 2pm at Farm Chastain for a FREE planting class! Cathy R***r, Master Gardener will be hosting a planting class for kids. Each child will repot a pepper to take home and plant peppers in farm bed. Only 8 spots are available- click the link in our bio to join!

On this New Year’s Eve as we all eagerly prepare to welcome a new year, my heart is full of gratitude for our journey together. Today marks the eve of Chastain Park Conservancy's 20th Anniversary, a special milestone that wouldn't be possible without your incredible support.

For the last 10 years I have had the privilege of serving as the Conservancy's Executive Director, I am proud of our accomplishments and thrilled about the exciting possibilities that lie ahead. Our commitment to fostering a stronger, more connected community is at the core of everything we do. We believe Chastain Park is more than just a green space; it's a place for your well-being, where cherished memories are made, and friendships thrive.

As we step into 2024, we are more than ever focused on serving you. We're here to support your physical and mental health, help you create lasting connections, and provide a haven for reflection. Our wish is that the positive ripple effects of our work extend far beyond the park, influencing our broader Metro Atlanta community and inspiring each of us to set higher standards for ourselves.
