For more than 80 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) has ignited the unlimited potential of kids and teens by creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments. ❤️🐼 It’s Panda Cares Day! On August 8th and all month long, we’re celebrating 25 years of the Panda Cares Foundation alongside our friends at Panda Express! Since 2020, the foundation has been supporting Boys & Girls Clubs’ Academic Success programming. July 23, 2024 - What an incredible day at the 3rd Annual BGCMA Staff Symposium! 🎉 This year's theme, LEGACY OF IMPACT, brought together Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta staff to celebrate achievements, recognize milestones, and gear up for the new program year. 💙 We started with a powerful Legacy Walk, showcasing the rich history of our 27 sites. 💙 Honoring our 11 BGCMA legends with $1,000 scholarships named in their honor was a heartfelt moment. 💙The TIM TALK was a lively discussion moderated by Trustee Chair Sam Johnson with our Immediate Past Trustee Chair Tim Tassopoulos--offering wisdom, humor and cultural insights! 💙 A big thank you to the Staff Symposium committee for their dedication and hard work. 💙 The week continues with the Youth Development Summit fall training for all Club staff.

Today AT&T opened a new Connected Learning Center inside our John H. Harland Boys & Girls Club in the Westend to provide internet access and high-quality educational tools to residents who encounter barriers to online participation. In addition, AT&T made a $50,000 contribution to Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) for programming support.

As part of the event, AT&T and Compudopt Atlanta distributed 200 free laptops and backpacks to members and families. Thank you !
