On May 13, 2023, our ZLA youth leaders, on foot, conducted a robust community sensitization in Choma, the Southern province of Zambia. The aim of the activity was to gain insights and increase their understanding of the current mindset of other youth on people leaders who are responsible for public finance management.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Global Atlanta for hosting Ambassador Briefing: Banking on a Better Future — Zambia’s Embrace of Enterprise and Equity, an insightful event that brought together top government and private-sector leaders from Zambia. The luncheon at Miller & Martin sponsored by Ethiopian Airlines was a remarkable opportunity to explore investment and trade opportunities in our resource-rich, landlocked nation in southern Africa.

🎙 With opening remarks from CChibamba Kanyama Zambia's Ambassador to the United States, and a fireside chat featuring Venus Hampinda, Finance Director/Regional Head Strategic Tax Solutions at Absa Bank Zambia, and Ceaser Siwale, CEO of Pangaea Securities, the event shed light on the potential for partnership and growth.

🤝 It was a pleasure serve as a co-sponsor and to join hands and discuss how Atlanta can continue to serve as a gateway for American engagement on the African Continent. We also explored how Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens Year of the Youth can align with Zambia's inclusive growth plans.
