Session 5 of our "This is How We Do It" Social Etiquette and Empowerment Workshop Series. Skin Care Specialist, Queen Jeanelle and Fashion Designer, Threads by Tre shared a wealth of knowledge, real life testimonies and their authentic selves. It is with great pleasure to announce the recipient of our 2023 Cultural S.O.U.L. Award in the Art of Fashion Design, Wilbourn Sisters Designs! Janice and Carolyn Wilbourn, owners of Wilbourn Sisters Designs Inc., market and sell their own line of fashions all over the world and have been in business for over 50 years. They learned their skills and talents from their mother, fondly known as "Queen Mother Elizabeth". Wilbourn Sisters, we salute you!

The award will be presented at our SOUL…Atlanta Style Fashion Show Fundraiser on, Saturday, June 24, 2023 at the Atrium in Stone Mountain, Georgia. All proceeds benefit our youth and cultural arts programming. Tickets on sale now at: www.pdfculturalcenter.org.

Why We Do What We Do

The Pamela D. Franklin Cultural Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. (PDFCCPA) was founded on June 21, 2012. The PDFCCPA bears the maiden name of its founder and executive director, Pamela Franklin Stegall.

Their mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and creative hub; committed to educating, engaging, and empowering current and future generations through creative writing, dance, music, and theater. The various art forms being offered at this center will be a valuable tool in recreating a strong community. It will create strong social networks, bring together diverse groups of people, foster a sense of community, and build relationships.
