Colorfest Inc.
Colorfest is an event for youth of all ages to come out and take part in helping to beautify the city of New Bern and surrounding areas.
We aspire to grow and brighten the minds of young artist and our community through the arts. A main focus of the Colorfest Team is to break chains in impoverished communities. We see the arts as a way to give young artist positive ways to channel their creative energy and talents. For many years we have seen the decline of funding in schools for art based programs, causing children to lose access to curriculum that would otherwise enhance and nurture the creative process.

Yay! The time is near!!! We are looking forward to this weekend! All kids are welcome! You can register on site for the competition!
There will be a section for all to doodle some art as well like we always do!
Look forward to seeing everyone ! We will be serving food for the kids as well ( first 100 kids! )
Games will also be out in the field ! we will be giving away art packs for prizes!

Alright its official lets get ready for Chalk art competition! yay! Go to colorfestinc.org to register your teams! Kids ages 10-16! We will also have a large area for free chalk drawing by the community! Look forward to seeing every one again this year!!

Had an awesome time with the kids at the Chalk Art competition ! Just a few highlights from the day! The kids worked hard on their pieces! Congrats To the 3 team winners! (some of the kids left due to heat) Like to thank the winners, parents, volunteers, kids and supporters!! You all helped make this day a success for the kids that came out!
