This study investigates the impact of urban parks on and well-being, focusing on Marivan City in Iran. Data collected via questionnaire was categorized into perceptual, visual, and functional indicators. Results suggest that these indicators significantly influence residents’ mental health and well-being, with the visual aspect showing the strongest impact among them. A study performed in Xalapa, México identified and quantified the presence of residential and and people’s contribution to their planting and care. The presence of residential trees was higher than that of street trees in front of residences, and people contributed significantly to the planting and care of both types of trees. Socioeconomic level and time of inhabitance were important attributes associated with the presence and planting of street trees and homeownership for residential trees https://ow.ly/TVby50SCooC

Through research, technology, and education, the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) promotes the professional practice of arboriculture and fosters a greater worldwide awareness of the benefits of trees. This is our passion and serves as our mission statement.

ISA exists so that professionals, allied professionals, public officials, and consumers worldwide recognize the economic, environmental, and societal benefits and values of trees and their care at a cost that demonstrates the wise stewardship of resources. We are registered in the State of Illinois as a 501c (5) nonprofit organization.

The following guiding principles provide a framework for our objectives and inspire us to advance ISA’s mission and communicate our philosophy to our diverse audiences. These guiding principles steer our organization and support our vision as we advance ISA's mission.
