I lost 100 lbs in 9 1/2 months & have been able to maintain my weight for 3 years using the education and eating habits I developed during my stabilization transition and maintenance support!
I enjoy eating anything now, and I use the Ideal Protein protocol tools taught to me to keep my weight in check! If I gain a few pounds, I know how to manage this until I reach my desired weight and then I flip back over to Phase 3, maintenance. We are so proud of everything Nate has accomplished by committing to a longterm healthy lifestyle that works for him! Here is his account of the experience with us at the Institute for Meatbolic Transformation:
The Ideal Protein weight loss program has literally been a lifesaving program for my health. I was 225 lbs. when I began this program. My A1C numbers had reached a high of 8.7 and I was having trouble with my eyesight, pain in my joints, and taking mealtime insulin on top of my morning and evening insulin injections and medications. My doctor informed me that I needed to do something different right now or my lifespan would be shortened beyond normal expectations. My clothes sizes kept increasing to where I was having to buy waist size 44 and beyond pants.
When I mentioned the Ideal Protein program, my doctor was very excited for me to use this program since he knew it to be a health driven and careful program.
My Coach Wendy was an ideal (lol) coach for me in many areas. She understood me, my goals, my frustrations, my temptations, and how to coach me when I needed to get back on course. I can truthfully say that without her gentle guidance and patience that I would not have been successful. I would not have the excellent health biometrics I have today. My A1C at my last doctorβs checkup was 5.6 (below prediabetic range), blood pressure is perfect, pulse has now dropped from over 93 bpm to below 60 bpm and take minimal medication for my diabetes. My joint pain has vanished, and my eyesight has returned to normal. I am now able to wear size 32 waist pants!!
Through my lifestyle changes while on the IP program I have become more informed about food choices and their impact on my overall health. Using my Macro Code on a daily basis has allowed me to enjoy the foods I like in the appropriate manner and time without sacrificing family times or preventing me from enjoying the special days and holidays with family and friends. My wife is amazed that I can now walk one or two miles without becoming fatigued and we can now enjoy hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities that were being seriously limited by my prior state of health.
