Motivated by his brother Rocky, a decorated Special Olympics weightlifting champion, Ryan has developed a deep understanding of the unique needs and services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. A proud Snohomish County native with a Master's in Sports Management, Ryan loves epic hikes, all things Norwegian, and spoiling his 12-year-old Golden Retriever.

Jason has been a vital part of the Pioneer Feed Company since June 2009. He stocks animal products and hay in the storeroom, drives the forklift, and helps customers load their purchases into their cars. Huge congratulations, Jason, on 15 years!
Beyond his job, Jason is a strong advocate for individuals in supported employment. He sees the positive impact of supported employment on people with disabilities, employers, co-workers, and the community. Jason has shared his experiences with legislators and successfully advocated with CTRAN for route changes to improve access to employment.
Recently, Jason reached an amazing milestone by buying his own home with his brother! π‘π

We had a fantastic day learning and experimenting at Microsoftβs Inclusive Tech Lab . We are grateful to Bryce Johnson and his team for their efforts to rethink barriers and explore ways tech can reduce hurdles to participation, contribution, independence, and inclusion for people with disabilities. Bryce even put together ideas for AI and supported employment! Our hope is that we can equip our staff with foundational knowledge in assistive tech and AI tools, so we can better serve our clients and their employers.

A prime example of this is Eamonn, who works at Wendyβs in Bremerton. He has been diligently earning stickers on an earning tracker from his manager and job coach each time he completed his whole shift. This system was part of his goal to buy a new Xbox, and after many dedicated hours of work, he finally filled in his tracker completely. With great excitement and a sense of accomplishment, Eamonn recently bought himself the Xbox he had worked so hard for. His commitment and perseverance paid off, making the reward even more satisfying.ππ
