Skylar has been wetting her bed everyday from age two to eight years old.

Lately, it has been difficult because she wanted to go to sleep-overs with her friends.

Taking time out of my day to visit a family friend, Steve, who is in the hospital for over a month. πŸ˜”

He is like a grandpa to my son, Aiden. Steve has been there for Aiden's basketball games & practices for almost two years. πŸ€

Now, it is my turn to be there for him.

I have visited him almost everyday giving him & his daughter emotional support. 🫢

We were excited for him to go home last week, but a major setback has him in the hospital for longer than expected.

It is times like this that it reminds me how precious life is. πŸ’–

You can get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of life and miss out on precious moments with your kids or your significant other.

Take five minutes of your time to stop and listen to your spouse or child.

Do something they love. Go out of your way to show them you love them. πŸ₯°

You never know how long you have with the ones you love. Life is short, cherish every moment with them and please, do not take it for granted. πŸ’•
