So I played sports back in the day, and tore my left ACL playing volleyball in 8th grade, and then tore my right ACL playing basketball in 9th grade.
And even still then, got back into the game, and played the rest of high school. I loved it and wouldn’t trade those experiences for anything!
But unfortunately these days, that means I am in a constant battle with inflammation and arthritis pain.

I’m originally from a small town in East Texas and moved to Austin five years ago after I got sober. Actually just celebrated my fifth year!
I moved into a sober living was asked to manage the house soon after. I eventually got the opportunity to work in recovery at a mental health and addiction treatment program for a few years – where I got to work with and meet so many wonderful folks, and that includes Gene! In various conversations throughout the years, I knew Gene and Sara were trying to build a business, but more importantly to help people and bring alternative, holistic medicine and practices to the community.
SO CRAZY, I wanted to do the same thing! Gene and Sara have been gracious enough to let me join them on this venture, spreading holistic wellness to the masses, and I couldn’t be more excited! Hope to meet some of you in person along the way!

I have a patient who, since breaking his femur above his knee replacement in November, has come to see me for acupuncture eight times. He has been using Bone Setting Water daily in between visits.

Due to the location and severity of the fracture, his doctors were not optimistic about his recovery. He was an active person and eager to get back on his feet, so he sought out Traditional Chinese medicine to do what he could to support his healing. Last week, he went to get his x-rays taken again and his doctors were amazed with the amount of new bone growth he had around his break!
