Hello friends of Radix House.
We write to you today in hopes that you will see this in time to help. We tried to open our first brick and mortar location about 2 months ago. Unfortunately, we learned that the landlord had failed to disclose that the property we signed a lease for will be torn down for apartments. Yes, we asked them. It was a customer who shared this information with us last week that none of the tenants knew about until now. Some of which had just purchased 3 commercial AC's last week.
So, with this new information, all the overwhelming repairs and more, we have made the hard decision to walk away from the restaurant and hope that the community can help us stay alive. Our family has exhausted the last of my fathers life insurance. We are close to having to close unless our community shows up for us one more time. We're very scared and hoping to see you stop by for something delicious and / or one of our products that so many enjoy. We want to work our way out of this but need help. Please.
We are working on reopening the small truck at 3008 West Slaughter Lane at the corner of Westgate and Slaughter sometime in the next week. Waiting for power connection right now. Westgate at William Cannon remains open. We will need help to rebound fast in order to make it. Menchaca restaurant is open until we run out of food inventory in the coming week. Please buy some pizza.
We had no choice but to make these changes due to the amount of money spent to date to try to make this work and that we are close to being bankrupt as we have ever been. My Mother and I are in a bad situation but doing our best to stay focused on our mission to help end su***de and help those impacted by PTSD.
Radix House is a leader in the mental health community and founded some of the first infused food and drinks in the area to help educate the community on the benefits many enjoy through these products. We are proud to help connect people with information about our partners at the AFSP for su***de prevention, share resources for those impacted by PTSD and be a safe place to connect on subjects like these.
Share this information, shop with us, donate if possible and contact us if interested in investing so that we don't have to work with predatory "business people". Thank you again.
