If you repeat “I’m so stressed” to yourself over and over again your brain goes on autopilot and will attempt to find ways to prove yourself right and then you will feel stressed. Pay attention to what you’re saying to yourself—do you want it to be your reality?
For me, stress presents as a headache and a shortening of breath. When I notice those physical sensations in my body I take deep breaths and hold them for several seconds to counteract the tightness in my body. How does stress present for you?
