The Steve Hicks School announces with excitement its SHS Distinguished Speaker Series, with an inaugural event to take place on Tuesday, February 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Avaya Auditorium at the Oden Institute (201 E 24th St. in the Peter O’Donnell Building for Applied Computational Engineering and Sciences). NextGen America will be hosting a special panel discussion on Latino Empowerment and Political Power, featuring acclaimed Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta Mejía, on Monday, January 29th at the UT Austin LBJ Auditorium starting at 7:30 pm.
