I truly love jars. When people have asked me, “what do I put in this jar?” I’m baffled that they don’t feel a constant lack of ceramic jars in their home. But since I’ve been asked (more than once) I’ve started building a list:
-a jar for the good luck pennies you’ve found
-dried flowers (romantic)
-keys from your past
-secret bedside jar for vices
-beautiful jar for dog treats
-cut out horoscopes or little articles from the local rag
-a safe place for your miniatures
-put a jar out and discover what junk accumulates inside. at the end of a year empty it out and read it like tea leaves.
Jars are on the shop for your own jar-lack or to fill a jar shaped hole in a loved ones life 💝🎁

A small 4 lamps collection of wood fired work ~ made for the eye of the collector and laboriously one of a kind. Now online
I’m excited, stupefied, anxious and very ready to share with you my work from the past year. This work is personal, connected to my childhood home and my memories of growing up on the central coast of California. I unexpectedly moved back to California, during a time when the world was going crazy. Once the dust settled, I discovered a new fondness for where I am from. I’m older, the years of teenage rebellion are over, and I now see my hometown with a sense of gratitude and wonder. I feel calm, happy, and not lured by a sense of fancy aesthetics. I’m drawn to things that feel like home.
So maybe this collection is something about that.
I’ll be sharing more thoughts/photos but you can see it all on my website. Photos by the wonderful 💛🧡
