Silent Sky was commissioned by and premiered at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, California, as part of the 2011 Pacific Playwrights Festival.

Meet our phenomenal Director for SILENT SKY, Andi Chapman. Ms. Chapman is APU Theater Art's On-Camera professor. Her recent directing credits include SHE, THE ABUELAS, and WINTERS TALE. As a television actress, she is recurring on shows like 911, and CRIMINAL MINDS.

Today APU Theater Arts honored acclaimed actor Jonathan Roumie, best known for his portrayal of Jesus in 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘯, with the 2024 Inspirational Artist Award.

Jonathan Roumie interviewed with our Chair Jill Lincoln in Chapel and was honored by Theater Arts students with the President in an Honors Luncheon. He was the guest speaker in a Master Class with Theater Arts students.
