They have been educated on various kinds of mosquitoes and the methods to locate them within their homes. The students had the opportunity to inspect water samples containing mosquitoes and were truly fascinated by the knowledge they gained. They are looking forward to learning more about this real world application! Stay WILD! π΄ π

The Aloha Mustang Match Up was the perfect way to celebrate the end of this school year! 5th grade students competed against staff in a series of games and relays, and the crowd moved to the rhythm during group dance breaks. Ultimately, the staff out-scored the students, but the laughter and fun had by all counted the most! We wish our 5th graders all the best for a bright future. You will be missed. Have an amazing summer, and stay WILD! School resumes August 22. π΄π

The WILD Mustangs were treated to a visit by Farmer Teresa from the Old Grove Orange farm. They learned that many fruits and veggies travel from this farm directly to their lunch trays, and that these special foods contain superpowers to keep them healthy. After being inspired to make wise choices, students were able to "shop" the market and try the beautiful food. Thank you, Farmer Teresa! Stay healthy and WILD! π΄ππ₯π

Our preschoolers and TK students were busy little bees learning about beehives and honey production. The beekeeper is a former Mustang who returned to Magnolia to share his passion and knowledge for these special insects. He and his siblings run a success family business caring for bees and collecting honey. They sure created a "buzz" about the campus! Thank you for visiting the WILD Mustangs. Stay WILD! π΄ππ
Third graders in Room 12 learned what it was like to be a paleontologist! They pieced copies of animal bones together and had conversations to determine what type of animal they discovered. Then they wrote about and presented their ideas. Way to "dig in" into your learning, Mustangs! Stay WILD! π΄π

Our Story
Magnoliaβs vision focuses on guiding students toward academic success and a commitment to support self-directed, life-long learners as they grow into resourceful and productive citizens.
Students enjoy the Accelerated Reader program and are encouraged and rewarded for improving reading comprehension. All students benefit from a computer lab with state of the art technology. We deliver high quality instruction to all students with a focus on reading/language and math support in transitional kindergarten through grade five. Students are guided by specific rules and classroom expectations that promote respect, cooperation, courtesy and acceptance of others.
The schoolβs PBIS discipline philosophy promotes a safe, warm, friendly environment; and demonstrates that good discipline is a solid foundation on which to build an effective school environment. Our discipline plan is student-centered, progressive, fair and consistent, leading students to assume responsibility for their behavior. There are Friday Awards Assemblies where students are honored for numerous achievements such as Student of the Month, Citizenship and Reading Achievement.
Parents are actively involved at Magnolia. Parents serve on School Site Council, Superintendents's Roundtable and the English Learner Advisory Council. Our parents help with fundraising which allows our students to enjoy exciting and educational field trips and assemblies. Monthly newsletters, parent nights and conference days provide school and district information to parents. Magnolia also has a monthly Parent Coffee which includes a variety of parent education topics.
