Dalton had the honor of saying goodbye to our Azusa High Seniors. Many took a trip down memory lane and reminisced about the elementary life, their teachers, the classrooms, and the playground that was so long ago. This memory was very real, especially to our three former Bobcats! Much success to our Aztecs and their futures!

Our 5th grade students have courageously crossed the bridge into a new chapter of their lives. They have earned academic and reading achievements, and proudly hold their certificate of elementary completion. This moment will forever be etched in their hearts and minds!

Exciting news -Thank you Mrs. Poe- our Innovation Lab is now a hub for scientific exploration and creativity! Students are learning to code robots and watching their skills come to life through their movements. At AUSD, we empower students and foster a love for learning as our young innovators dream and create.

During the past few weeks, we were able to honor and uplift our amazing teachers and classified staff! Our Bobcat staff experienced weeks filled with incredible surprises during our Star-Studded celebration. From thoughtful treats to abundant love, it truly was a time to remember. We appreciate our staff the continued support from our families!

Today was an incredible Mother's Day Potluck! We had the pleasure of connecting with other families. A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful moms who graced us with their presence and brought scrumptious food to share and our amazing Dalton ladies who took the lead in organizing everything. We can't wait to see our dad's next week for our father's day event. Let's continue to come together as a community and have fun! .

Only a week ago, our Dalton Bobcats were fortunate to witness a rare and spectacular (partial) solar eclipse 🌙. Equipped with special glasses 🕶️, our students eagerly looked outside and watched live as they engaged in a variety of classroom activities. Ms. Eubanks' first graders were also filled with wonder and awe as they participated in learning about a solar eclipse. What a truly unforgettable moment for our young Bobcats!

Popsicles and PAWS (tickets)! A perfect duo for our Bobcats who chose to spend their tickets so that they could cool off and enjoy the sweet rewards of Popsicle Day. Did TK use their PAWS tickets or gold coins?

Dalton Families!
Our wee TK students had a wild run-in with a crafty leprechaun during class. They tried to catch the little green guy with a trap, but he outsmarted us and disappeared leaving a mess behind. At least he left each of us gold coins and a note!

Our Bobcats are having a great time with Lunch with the Principal. Every month, students get the opportunity to use the PAWS tickets that they earn for a variety of incentives. We listened to Disney music, played Connect 4 and Jenga, and students left with a few party treats!
