‼️Local Mental Health Resource
Throughout the rest of the month, we want to highlight local leaders moving the needle in the Mental Health industry!
Meet LaKeisha Brown-Moore MSW, LCSW Psychotherapist, owner of Guiding Hearts Counseling, a beacon of hope in Fayette and Bastrop County. LaKeisha provides compassionate care to individuals of all ages, offering a spectrum of mental health services from childhood to end-of-life challenges. Her dedication to holistic wellness extends beyond therapy sessions, encompassing case management and behavior interventions. Join us in celebrating local leaders like LaKeisha, who are making a difference in mental health one heart at a time. ❤️
LaKeisha was a recipient of the 2023 Community Impact Grant through the Red Door Fund. Red Door provided $20,000 to Guiding Hearts Counseling to pay for internship salaries. The interns will lead peer support groups in various K-12 schools, conduct Grief & Loss Groups for adults, and perform Behavioral Management Observations for elementary and middle school students, ultimately enabling other mental health professionals to accommodate more clients and emphasizing the importance of clinical supervision in rural areas with limited support.
We can’t wait to see how this will impact our rural region. ❤️
Summer months are a time for Teens and Pre-Teens to recharge and focus more on their emotional well-being. Sign your child up and take advantage of this free 6 week group. Spaces are limited! The best way to sign up is by emailing me!
