Case graduated from Dutchtown High School and will be attending SEU in the fall. He will be majoring in Ministerial Leadership.

Cameron graduated from Dutchtown High School and will be attending LA Tech in the fall. She will be majoring in Biomedical Engineering.

Joseph graduated from Dutchtown/RPCC and will be attending LSU in the fall. He will be majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Isabella graduated from Dutchtown High School and will be attending Southeastern Louisiana University in the fall. She will be majoring in Psychology.

Aiden graduated from Southern Lab and will be attending ULL in the fall. He will be majoring in Kinesiology.

Sophia finished homeschooling and will be attending Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School in the fall.

Matt Gauthier is one of our INCREDIBLE leaders and he leads with such a humble and kind heart. He leads the 11th grade guys small group and also helps with lights on the production team. The way he leads and loves students is so amazing and truly shows them the love of Jesus. He is quick to meet the need and everything he does is with the joy of the Lord.

Kailyn Lebrun is an incredible student leader in our Youth! She is the exact personification of what you get when you combine hunger & perseverance. She has such a deep hunger for God that is so pure. However, she doesn’t desire to keep that to herself. She perseveres in every environment she steps in so that others can know about Jesus as well. Whether at church, her home, her school, or her track team she shines her light. Kailyn we are so proud of you!

✨Motivational Monday✨

Hey YTH! Sometimes it can be hard to remember how Good of a God we serve! Here’s some encouragement for you today out of Psalms 91:9-16 (NLT)

“If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”

God ALWAYS has the final say!
He says : “I WILL deliver you! I WILL answer you! I WILL honor you! I WILL protect you! I WILL be with you! I WILL satisfy you! I WILL save you! I WILL redeem you!” Trust Him above all else! How can we pray for you this week? 🫶🏼

✨THANKFUL THURSDAY!!✨ This week we will be getting to know our leader Miss Marva Hastings!!

One of my favorite verses is Philippians 3:10. “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.”
This is one of my favorites because He is teaching us that through suffering we are supposed to go deeper in our relationship with Him. It is my desire to have a deeper relationship with Jesus.

I went through Next Steps in February 2023 and began to serve as a youth leader on Wednesday nights in April 2023.

God called me to work with the youth about 30 years ago. I’ve served as Youth Director, VBS teacher and Sunday School teacher.
My favorite part of working with teens is to model the Christian life for them. I have a natural connection with them. Caring for and mentoring them is one of my greatest joys.
I serve as a greeter and small group leader!

Some fun facts about me are!
I love the outdoors. I play golf, work out in the gym and walk 5 miles three times a week. I line dance with the Sensational Seniors, and I have one daughter and 3 grandchildren.

I’ve been serving at youth for 3 months now. Jonah and I lead the 7th grade boys small group and I typically do security on youth nights. I’m currently a junior at LSU and a Dutchtown High alum. Back then I played football and competed in powerlifting. I love sports so you’ll always see me outside before service. If you ever need a friend come find me!

Hey YTH! I hope this verse can be some encouragement to you today. I know that fear and anxiety can sometimes have a hold on our lives but this is a reminder for us that the fear and anxiety you have doesn’t come from God! It comes from the enemy! God only gives us power, love and a sound mind! I pray that today, this week, and in the coming weeks, that we can all walk with that power that God puts inside of us. That we go onto our school campuses, spreading the love of Jesus and that when we feel that fear or anxiety creeping in, we turn to The Word and let God speak to us. 🫶🏼

It says in Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” What an amazing reminder for us today. 🪩HAPPY MONDAY🪩
The Psalms are David’s prayers and praises to God. In Psalm 139:13-14, David says, “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (NIV). David is praising God in the midst of hard times for being made wonderfully. This is true about us as well! God saw us even before we were created and created us in His image! Our insecurities can stem from comparison, lies or wanting to be different. When we remind ourselves that God created us and the truth about who He says we are, those insecurities will flee!! Today read Genesis 1:27 and remind yourself who God created you to be!
