This beautiful flower is as good for you as it looks. My favorite medicinal flower from my garden this year peony flowers are edible and historically have been used medicinally.

Historically, they have been used as anti-inflammatory, pain reliever for menstrual cramps, fever reducer, anti-oxidant and antispasmodic. Its roots have anti-tumor, antioxidant, and antibiotic benefits.

Its seed oil is beneficial for lowering cholesterol, anti-obesity, antioxidant and reducing blood sugar, as well as regulating the intestinal microbiota.

Flowers can be used in salads, cooking, teas, jams, tinctures, capsules, etc.

Thrilled my baby is finally born!

I began writing this book soon after my mother’s aggressive cancer diagnoses. She refused all conventional cancer therapies. Despite all odds she instead chose to pursue naturopathic and functional medicine and to address the root causes of her illness. She chose courage, faith, audacity, hope and love over fear, hopelessness and resignation. Her cancer stabilized and failed to rapidly progress. She thrived for 9 years until the pandemic hit.

My mother taught me the power of healing and graceful aging through unleashing our feminine powers while harmonizing science with spirituality. She taught me to lead with compassion, humility and oneness. She taught me to stay present, detached and joyful no matter what.

The essence of her wisdom and beauty, of courage and encouragement and love led me to write this book.

Many of you know that I have been evaluating and treating chronic infections in patients with cancer for over 20years, including viruses, bacteria, fungi and spirochetes.

Now, more studies correlating infections mimicking cancer exist.
