How often do you see people wearing these? AirPods are a popular and convenient way to stay connected. However, they can pose a serious threat to your hearing. If you are in a loud environment, you may turn up the volume of your AirPods, exposing your ears to dangerous dB levels. Safe listening levels range between 60-70 dB. Check out the next picture to see how you can set up your iPhone to check dB levels.

Research suggests that amplification may reduce fall risk in older individuals with hearing loss. Studies have found that individuals who used their hearing aids consistently over several months were correlated with lower fall risk scores. Those who did not have amplification were more likely to report a history of falls.

Melissa, one of our front staff is trying our VNG goggles. As part of our balance evaluations, we use the goggles to perform Videonystagmography (VNG), Positional testing, Head Shake Testing, and Calorics.
These tests are part of a test battery we use to find solutions and diagnosis for dizziness and balance issues.
