USD 273 Educational Foundation is encouraging the community to Adopt-A-Class to help defray the out-of-pocket expenses teachers donate to their classrooms each school year. Funding for classroom supplies and materials is growing increasingly scarce as school budgets continue to tighten. Adopt-A-Class allows you to sponsor a class by donating money to the foundation; one hundred percent of the money will then be given to the classroom teacher of your choice to be spent on supplies, teaching materials, learning resources, achievement awards, etc. that will be used exclusively for their students and classrooms. Your contribution is tax deductible and a charity contribution letter can be requested for tax purposes. All Adopt-A-Class sponsors will be listed on the donor banner that is hung at home games and will be listed on the district website unless you request otherwise.
