Bemus Point Central School District is excited to announce a transformative initiative to redefine transportation for our students and community.
As part of our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, and in large part thanks to a $400,000 EPA rebate award, we are launching a campaign to inform our district residents leading up to a vote on Thursday, Sept. 5 for the purchase of two electric school buses.
This purchase will come with zero tax implications! Over the coming weeks, we’ll spotlight on social media and through public forums how this is possible and how our plan to transition to a fully electric bus fleet by 2035 will benefit the district and community now and into the future.
For more information, visit bemusptcsd.org and click on the Electronic Bus Transition Plan tab on our homepage!

Student groups rotated through four stations of three-dimensional shapes, calculating length, radii, circumference, area, and volume using various tools. Students had to work together to problem solve, measure each shape's dimensions, and answer fun scenarios created by Mr. Burr. Students also shared in many circular snacks while they worked, to celebrate Pi Day.
