The top three winners in each category will be invited with their families to the awards ceremony in Frankfort on January 9, 2025. Please see the flyer posted in our BISD app room for additional information and the links for submission.

Attention BCHS Students, Grades 10-12! This year, our school will offer Advanced Placement (AP) Psychology, a new course designed to stimulate the brain and engage students in the field of Psychology. In this course, you will explore the ideas, theories, and methods of the scientific study of behavior and mental processes via reading, discussion and analyzing research study data. You will also have the opportunity to receive college credit in addition to high school credit through the AP Psychology National Exam. For more details, contact:

BCHS is very excited to offer a brand new elective course entitled Appalachian Studies! This course offers an exploration of the cultural, historical, and social tapestry of the Appalachians with a focus on the coal fields and log woods of Eastern Kentucky. It is designed to provide students with an essential understanding of Appalachia's unique identity, challenges, and contributions to American society.
