🪭🌸 Celerity plays a crucial role in representing Vietnamese culture on various platforms, such as cultural festivals, international events, and performances. Through our presence and performances, we increase the visibility of Vietnamese traditions, art forms, and aesthetics to a wider audience, both within and outside the Vietnamese community. It is through our performances in Berkeley as well as in the San Jose City Hall that we are able to celebrate cultural traditions through our performances. This representation helps to combat stereotypes, promote understanding, and foster cultural appreciation that have been more significant after the pandemic.

dancers, choreographers and allieswho use our traditional arts to tellour own stories firmly rooted in ourown experiences of the Bay Area andthroughout the world. Ourconservative art forms introducetraditional audiences to new ideasabout belonging in the largercommunity, while our engagementwith local history and current issuesbrings new audiences to Chinese
dance. We are the premier Bay Areahome for Chinese dancers to pursueindependent, boundary pushing, soloand small group work that doesn’t fit
into conventional studio
environments, and welcome artistsand technicians of all ages andbackgrounds ready to take fulladvantage of our unique resourcesand creative freedom.
