Over the last 15 years, MEDLIFE has brought high-quality healthcare services to thousands of families through our Mobile Clinics and Patient Follow-Up Program. Now, it’s time to take the next step. This year, your Moving Mountains fundraising efforts will help us construct the MED Center: A multipurpose community hub that brings sustainable development to low-income families.
Our goal is that the MED Center helps combat healthcare shortages by providing hundreds of medical and dental consultations on a daily basis. In addition to the permanent clinic, we envision that the MED Center will also be home to a bilingual primary school.
Through providing high-quality services in medicine, education, and development, we will build a better future for generations to come. Join us in building a sustainable tomorrow for low-income families by donating to our UC Berkeley fundraising page! Link in bio 💛💛

Did you know that just $25 can provide 100 children with fluoride treatment and toothbrushes? Due to the pandemic, many low-income families are missing out on vital medical and dental care. Many factors have prevented families from accessing the treatment they need, including financial strain, transportation restrictions, lack of available doctors’ appointments, and fear of contracting COVID-19.
has created a fundraising program called Moving Mountains: Healthy Futures For All to support the communities that have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
If you’re able to, please consider donating to our UC Berkeley MEDLIFE fundraising page or sharing this post. The link to donate is in our bio! Thank you so much for reading this❤️

Our Story
At Berkeley, students apply to attend a 2 week brigade where they volunteer at a mobile clinic with local physicians to provide healthcare to rural communities. UCB MEDLIFE requires that all students be enrolled in a DeCal before attending a trip. The DeCal aims to prepare students for the upcoming trip with medical Spanish lessons and introduction of the type of work they will be doing. We also plan fundraising and global health awareness events in and around the Berkeley campus.
Throughout the semester we hold fundraising events to raise money for the MEDLIFE Fund- all proceeds go directly to building community development projects or medical clinics in the areas we serve. We also hold supply drives for medicines and toiletries to donate and bring over to Peru!
