Join the authors of "Baptizing America," Brian Kaylor and Beau Underwood, along with Bishop Dwayne Royster from the Faith in Action Network. LTS' very own Dr. Greg Carey leads the discussion of this growing topic. Baptizing America critiques the concept of civil religion, arguing that such expressions are far more dangerous than we realize. Her Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Ann & Richard Barshinger Center for the Musical Arts, Franklin & Marshall College, 600 College Avenue, in Lancaster on Friday, August 16 at 11 a.m. Lancaster Seminary President Emerita, Carol Lytch, will deliver the eulogy.
Examine the fundamental doctrines of Christianity, explore what it means to think about God. As church and community leaders, we will examine the ways in which we articulate our own theological perspectives (and understand those of others) about God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit in relation to congregational leadership.
