Thank you to our volunteers for a job well done! Kids Ocean Day 2024 was a success because of the incredible energy and effort of over 150 amazing volunteers. More than 3,000 kids had an unforgettable day learning about the importance of saving our oceans.

California Coastal Commission I've always loved exploring the tide pools of the coast. My mom is a biologist so I grew up exploring and identifying different creatures. Tide pools were always the most fun. I was inspired by the biodiversity and how animals often look different at low tide.
