I don't often share family portraits, but I do offer them as a part of my newborn sessions. It's so important to document this time as a new family, because before you know it, they won't fit in your hands like this anymore.

I love meeting expecting parents, especially those waiting on their first baby. The excitement and anticipation is palpable ❤

One of the things I love most about studio maternity sessions is the variety they offer. We went from this adorable casual look with the big brother-to-be to the classic, fine art look with a simple wardrobe and backdrop change!

I currently have babies on my calendar through September of this year. If you're thinking about a newborn session for your little one, the best time to book is your second trimester to make sure I have availability around your due date.

Sibling photos are usually some of the more difficult shots to get during a newborn session, but I've been really lucky to have had some awesome big brothers and sisters in the studio as of late!

Did you know that newborn sessions are (ideally) photographed in the first 2-3 weeks after birth? This is when babies are usually the sleepiest and curliest. Most of my clients book their sessions well in advance of their due date to make sure I have room on my schedule once baby is born. These early days go by SO fast and it's a time you'll never regret capturing 💜
