I loveeeee senior sessions ♥️ They’ve become my favorite type of sessions to shoot and I think it’s because during my sessions, I really get to know your senior. Learning about their favorite songs, hobbies and aspirations makes is such a special part of my job and it’s why I love photography so much! It’s not just “say cheese” it’s “tell me about you” and what better way to document your baby, than by showcasing their unique personality!

This session felt like a watercolor painting 🖼️ the dresses, the hues, the movement - a perfect painting on a misty summers night!

It’s been a sweet summer and I’m just getting caught up on some posts from over the past few months. We had to take a couple of breaks during this session for the kids, but you’d never know! By the end they were ready to play and were all smiles! I always reassure my clients that taking a pause, or switching gears during a session is totally normal! As a parent, I totally understand that things don’t always go as planned, which is why being flexible and open to just playing is beneficial during our sessions! Sometimes kids are their best selves when you just let them be little!

Today felt “fall ish” but this session from earlier this summer was anything but! This amazing extended family played and laughed (and braved the bugs and heat!)

A New England Summer story - a stormy sky, warm sea breeze and baby on the way! This session had me wishing for more moody/grainy sessions full love and so much anticipation!

*SNEAK* I love when I get to document growing families - each new adventure and all the happiness that comes with each milestone - they’re all so magical! ✨ From an autumn session last fall to an easy breezy beach session (minus the bugs) this past weekend, I’ve loved having opportunity to photograph this sweet growing family! Congratulations on expecting baby #2!

Maternity photos are truly one of my favorite type of sessions these days. I love learning about it you, hearing about your growing family, and all things baby. As we head into summer, it’s hard to believe that my own babies are finishing up the school year in the blink of an eye. My daughter will be joining her brother in middle school next year, and I am not ready! Motherhood is the best mix of bittersweet moments 🌸 Hugs to all the mommas these next few weeks, who are watching their babies - big and small - grow ❤️

The world is incredibly heavy these days, so I have been giving myself time away from social media and posting, but I appreciate all the followers that are still here with me.

You wouldn’t know it, but this sweet baby was super speedy in crawl mode! Babies at this age are so fun to capture - still round cheeked and cuddly, but on the cusp of adventure! What is your favorite baby stage?

Did you know that the best time to get maternity photos is around 33 weeks?

Those magical months of being pregnant are so special, which is why its so important to capture them. And, getting your photos taken around 30-35 weeks is ideal. Why? Because it presents the perfect balance between showing that gorgeous bump AND being comfortable.

Apart from how far along you are, there isn’t an ideal time of year to have a maternity session - winter can be cozy and bright, spring and summer allow for sandals and bare feet - you know how the saying goes! And fall is always perfect for those long flowing dresses and gorgeous autumn leaves. Don’t want to be outside? In-home maternity sessions allow you to showcase your pregnancy from the comfort of your home or nursery.

Don’t blink! Six years ago I photographed this family for the very first time. They were one of my first clients after starting my business and I remember leaving that session feeling like I had won the lottery. It was, and still is, one of my all-time favorite sessions. They were(are) the sweetest siblings - loving, respectful of each other, and oh so much fun to shoot! Fast forward six years, and they are now all becoming young adults, and (gulp) one will graduate high school this year! I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to watch this amazing family grow year after year and I love hearing about their lives when we meet up.
