Fun night at the JV and Varsity softball end of season banquet. Congrats to all the girls on a great season. Also, congrats to juniors Lexi Scott and Jessica Stone and to senior Sarah Nickerson on making all conference honors. Congrats to freshman Shay Bernardini and junior Whitney Walker being selected for the all division team. Also congrats to Angela Forester for receiving the sportsmanship award for her positive energy and attitude! 🥎

Today the CF Varsity softball team played their last game of the year ultimately losing 9-5 in the sectional semi-final playoffs. Great game and great season!

Forks Softball Outlasts Dryden, Heads to Class B Semis

Congrats to the CF varsity softball team for winning their quarterfinals game in the sectional playoffs, 8-4 over Dryden. Great pitching performance from Jessica Stone only giving up 2 hits and 1 run over 6 innings and 9 strikeouts. Great team defense and timely hits. Sectional semi-finals Thursday at 4:30 vs Chenango Valley at CV. See everyone Thursday at CV!!🥎

Tomorrow at 4:30 the varsity team has their first sectional playoff game. Please come out to the varsity softball field and support these girls! We would really like a big turn out!! 🥎

The varsity softball team had two scrimmages this week in preparation for their sectional game next week. The #4 seed Blue Devils vs #5 seed Dryden on Tuesday the 23rd at 4:30, home at Chenango Forks High School. Make sure to come out and support these girls! 🥎

And just like that, the 2023 JV softball season is finished. The last game of the year was definitely memorable! Game being called after the 7th inning was finished due to darkness. Final score, 24-24! This year was not about wins and losses. It was about the little wins inside of each game. Communication, not giving up, being good teammates, and having a little fun too. The girls improved so much from start to finish. Thanks to Amy Lynn Willis for helping out this year! Also, thanks to Pennie Merrick for doing the scorebook for us. Good luck to the varsity as they move on to sectionals next week! 🥎
