Patient Education Spotlight: Your IV Tubing

Did you know your IV tubing lasts 24 hours and can be used for multiple doses? Here's a quick guide for after your infusion:

1️⃣ Disconnect the IV line and place a new red cap on the end to keep it clean.
2️⃣ Leave the tubing attached to the empty bag.
3️⃣ For the next dose, remove the spike from the empty bag and place it in the new one.
4️⃣ Prime the IV tubing and hook it up to the patient.
