Congratulations to Kaci Barron, Academy of Health Sciences scholar and Rams Cheer Team co-captain, for being named an MVP of the Birmingham Young Water Works Ambassadors program today! Over the past month, Kaci participated in hands-on STEM education, learning about water conservation and how to raise community awareness about water issues. For the past several months, our Academy of Visual Communications students have been participating in workshops with Eric Dj-Cuzzo Bryant. Today, they showcased their skills by providing music during lunch. Thank you, Mr. Bryant, for inspiring the next great generation of DJs!

Friday marked our 14th college tour of the school year! We would like to say a huge thank you to Academies of Bham for making this possible and to Principal Hines for always prioritizing opportunities for the G.W. Carver High School RAMS.

Yesterday, our Academy scholars had a wonderful college visit at Jackson State University. Our Rams gained an understanding of JSU’s place in history, its outstanding programs, and its rich traditions.
