Planting seeds into our scholars all summer long. Physically and Mentally.

Today, we planted squash and we are going to watch them grow this summer. After, they are rooted we will move them to larger pots.

This activity will be followed up with instruction and a tour from our partners at the Jones Valley Teaching Farm 🤍

ENRICHMENT 2024! Yesterday, scholars used VR devices to help them discover their future career interest. Students were able to explore all the Career and Technical Education Programs that BCS offers! They were able to perform the job task to see if they had any interest in that career field! Stay Tuned as we LEVEL UP during enrichment this summer!

The Solar Eclipse was a HOT TOPIC at Ossie Ware Mitchell MS today! Students enjoyed learning more about the eclipse and it’s impact on the world around us!

We will resume our regular schedule on Thursday, January 18. Intersession will be held on Thursday, January 18 and Friday, January 19.

October at Ossie Ware Mitchell MS ended in celebration for all here at Tiger Country. We celebrated our survivors 💞 and current soldiers 💗 in honor of Beast Cancer Awareness.

We also celebrated our scholars for achieving goals in I-Ready. Students were tasked with passing a certain number of lessons on I-Ready to participate in the trunk-or-treat. Some students leveled up and superseded their goals!

The last game of the season for the Woodlawn Middle Colonels was a great way to end an incredible season for the team! Our eighth grade players were recognized and athletes donned pink apparel in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Way to celebrate and bring home the victory in style guys! 🏈💚💛

The Colonels move to 2-1 on the season and will play Rutledge Middle School on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Midfield High School @ 6 p.m.
