Unfortunately, our current facility hinders our ability to provide the best experience for students.

See below for an opportunity to participate in a research study:

Hello! My name is Tyler Kane, and I am a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at Oklahoma State University. As part of my dissertation, I will be profiling minority stress, resilience, and patient-physician relationships among transgender and non-binary persons who are either currently accessing or have, in the past, accessed gender-affirmative medical treatment. Participation in the survey is reserved for those who meet the following criteria:
· You must be 18 years of age or older
· You must reside in the United States
· You must identify as transgender or non-binary
· You have had at least one consultation with a physician concerning medical interventions for gender affirmation (including, but not limited to, surgical consultations, discussion concerning hormonal treatments, etc.)
If you choose to participate, you will complete a 20 – 30-minute survey (linked below) asking about your experiences in this treatment, along with questions concerning your perspectives on your physical and mental health. You can also access the survey using the QR code in the image below. If you have any further questions, feel free to email the project lead at [email protected]. Thank you again for your input and time!
