Help needed! We need to raise $5000 this week for supplies, salaries, and utilities. It’s extra tough this week because half my staff and family are battling COVID and I have too sore a throat to make many calls. So, if you make a donation, I promise I’ll stay away from you. 🙂 (Just a little humor.) We served 100 families in just one day last week. Inflation is bringing in more and more working families who just can’t make ends meet without a little help. Please consider a gift today. You can follow the link below or drop off a gift to 808 N College Ave., Bloomington, IN 47404. The babies, their families, and I thank you. -Tina

Athletes from all over the world are gathering for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Locally, Indiana University is sending 10 competitors who hope to make their mark in Olympic history. Meanwhile, here at home, we see moms and dads running their own races, attempting to care for their little ones in a stressful world and a challenging economy. Pregnant moms and new parents are jumping over hurdles to study for exams or get to work on time. It takes a lot of mental gymnastics to balance work, school, home, and late nights wrestling with a teething baby. Our supporters deserve Gold medals for making sacrifices so we can help parents take care of their little ones. (OK, I'll stop with the puns!)
Seriously though, summer is a challenging time for us and most non-profits. Donations tend to decrease from June through August. However, the need keeps growing. Just last week, we had 100 clients, in just one day receiving counseling, case management, needed items like diapers and wipes, prenatal and childbirth education, doula services, and parenting support.
We ask you to be a hero for the babies and their families at the level that is right for you and your family or business. Give at: event.fundeasy.com/28153

Hannah Center, Inc. Helping meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of moms, dads, babies, and families.
I planned to spend today making fundraising calls for Hannah Center, Inc. I’ll admit that I wasn’t really looking forward to it. (Summer is a hard time to fundraise. But, needs must.) Instead, I spent the day praying, ministering, and grieving over the loss of two young lives. Perspective is a powerful thing. I truly wish today had been a day making calls to my lovely donors and praying for God to bless them in all they do.
Please pray for peace and healing for two families who have experienced devastating losses. Their lives will never be the same. My heart breaks for all who love them. -Tina

Our total for this year's Hannah-Thon was $33,163.30! While we didn't quite reach our goal of $40,000, we're so appreciative of all everyone's support. This money goes directly into continuing our services at the Hannah Center, like Material Support, Doula Services, Prenatal, Childbirth, and Parenting Classes, Counseling, and Case Management, as well as towards our $100,000 goal for for reopening Hannah House Maternity Home.
If you'd like to support the funding for Hannah House, you can donate at hannahcenter.org/donate and click "Hannah House" as your designation. The funding goes towards hiring 24/7 staff, housing costs for residents, counseling, individualized case management, doula services, and more.
She chose life. A new little person, a baby, a toddler, a kindergartener, a grade schooler, a teenager, a college student, a young adult, a mom or dad, a grandparent, and a great grandparent. All those lives were saved because she chose life. Keep her in your prayers.
