Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) is hosting LeaderShape, FAU which is a six day off campus leadership development opportunity valued at approximately $700 per student. If selected, the participant cost is zero dollars for you!

Some of your colleagues have attended the LeaderShape, South FL institute which our office also coordinates in partnership with six other institutions. This new opportunity is unique—it is being done for the first time and for FAU students only.
About LeaderShape: Let’s do something extraordinary. We are not talking about how to run a better meeting, how to get elected to an office, or how to conduct a bake sale. We are talking about changing the world. We are talking about getting out of your comfort zone and becoming the tipping point that changes everything. Any meaningful accomplishment, idea, business, or cause began with one person saying, “I can do this better.” Unfortunately, many people are happy with the way things are and that is why nothing changes. We are talking about leading — don't care about your title. We care about the results. That is what we are…we are LeaderShape. We want to be a part of creating a just, caring, thriving world. Participants of our programs and members of our community know what that world is like because they have tasted it — even if only for a day. And they want more. Until we have that world, there is LeaderShape and we have work to do.

On Friday the 27th is one of our biggest events!! Relay for Life will begin at 7pm at the FAU track and will continue until Saturday at 7am, please check your emails in order to sign up and be a part of our team! This is a great opportunity to come out and support Golden Key and a great cause!

Hope you're having a good first week back!
On Saturday March 14th from 10:00am-12:00pm, Golden Key will be participating in a beach clean up with Global Medical Brigades. It will be at the South Inlet Park beach which is south of Camino Real and A1A.

Good afternoon everyone!

There is a meeting this evening at 5:30pm to plan for Relay for Life, the meeting will take place in the College of Business in room 210.

There will also be a volunteer opportunity tomorrow, February 27th from 8am to 12pm. Golden Key will be working with Habitat for Humanity, if you take part in this event you can receive volunteer hours and points. If you do plan on attending this event please email [email protected]. The location of the event is 205 SW 12th Avenue Delray Beach FL 33444.
