Meet Pinky! 🎉 September Mom of the Month! Why did we choose Pinky? Because she’s a strong mama that works hard, inspires and loves FIT4MOM!

FUN FACTS FROM PINKY:

- I’m Pinky and I just turned 29. I’m from Madrid, Spain, and I moved to Miami almost 5 years ago. As a good Spaniard, I really like jamón serrano, gazpacho, and paella, but I’m not a fan of bullfighting. I’ve been with my husband, Fernando, since High school, who is also Spanish. We go to Spain about 3 times a year to visit his family, since mine is Cuban and they all live in Miami.

- I was a professional volleyball player in Spain, but I haven’t played in 4 years (since I moved to Florida). I miss it a lot! If any mom has advice on where to play indoor volleyball, I would really appreciate it.

- I have many hobbies: pickleball, painting, spending time with my friends, I love friends, playing board games and traveling. I’ve been to more than 40 countries. I love immersing myself in different cultures, meeting all kinds of people, and exploring all sorts of places.

- I’m a very hardworking mom. I work remotely while taking care of my baby, Gabi, at the same time. Gabi is almost 6 months old and is my best friend. We have a great time together; she is such a special person and she has made me realize that what I really wanted to be in life is her mom.

- I love the community I’ve found at FIT4MOM Boca Raton and I would like to continue with this activity always. 🩷

Sweet Peas Educational Gymnastics instead of at the mall! A gymnastics class for all the kids will be held after moms workout. 🫛💜

Sweet Peas Educational Gymnastics will host our village for a PRIVATE class before their grand opening to the public! Tuesday, September 3 at 9:00 a.m. inside the BRAND-NEW location in Boca Raton.

Their highly trained instructors will guide the children through a preview of typical classes including of the curriculum designed to help children learn balance, hand-eye coordination and motor skills all while having fun!

Try this healthy snack or meal idea recommended by Kerry at Whisper Health!

Yogurt Parfaits! 🍓 This has a great balance of protein (from collagen) and healthy fats (nuts) to stabilize energy and blood sugar from the carbs found in the yogurt and berries.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut or Greek yogurt (divided into 2 layers)
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder. Grass fed collagen is best!
- 2 tablespoons of walnuts chopped & divided
- 1/2 cup strawberries chopped & divided

Directions:
1. Mix protein powder into the yogurt
2. Place half the coconut yogurt mixture in a glass jar or bowl with half the nuts and half of the berries on top. Add the remaining yogurt, nuts and berries for a second layer.
3. Serve and enjoy!

Feel free to substitute a different fruit or nuts if desired!

FUN FACTS FROM NOUR:

I am from Lebanon and was born there. I came to Florida a year and a half ago to live with my husband.

I am the mother of a beautiful, six-month-old baby girl who was born in Florida and has made my life even more beautiful since her arrival.

I have known my husband since childhood - he was our neighbor and my brother’s friend. Years passed and I did not see him, but we met again in 2017 and planned our marriage.

When I moved to Florida, I wanted to continue my education in college, but I got pregnant and had my daughter, so that was challenging.

I love traveling and learning about other traditions, customs and countries. I prefer a village setting more than the city.

FIT4MOM was a life changer! I was so lucky to know about FIT4MOM Boca Raton. This group gave me a chance to reach my goals, transform my body and get in a good mood after postpartum stress. And I got to know wonderful mothers!

Six years ago, Stephanie was an exhausted, first-time mom desperate for help with her daughter’s sleep.
