The May 31 meeting of the Rotary Club Downtown Boca Raton was filled with love and kindness as the Club welcomed representatives from 17 area nonprofits and awarded each a grant. Recipients were chosen by Board members who reviewed numerous “Service Above Self” grant requests and made awards based on those who best aligned with the Club’s mission of health and wellness initiatives.
We’re so honored to have received this grant. Thank you to our Senior Director of Programs Nancy Friewald for accepting on our behalf and sharing the impact that these funds will have on the lives of our clients!

Introducing JARCineering, a cool new activity for our apartment clients! JARCineering is a collection of activities that are considered "missions" based on doing basic S.T.E.A.M. projects. Here, our clients are learning how a catapult works. Volunteer Kobie Alexander taught them the mechanics behind different machines like pulleys and levers, and how the styrofoam ball flies through the air and lands. They also got to come up with other ideas about how they would change it to make it go further!
We are looking for volunteers to help with a Passover Seder for our clients! If you’re able to help us serve dinner at 5pm on Thursday April 25th, please email Vanessa to sign up: [email protected] 🌷
