today is the last day of first ever investment campaign. the last 3 months have been a wild ride. i have met so many great new people, learned business at an accelerated rate, and stepped a mile and a half outside my comfort zone.

my life looks so different than it did at the start of 2020. at the time, i was working full-time, teaching 7 yoga classes a week, baking goodies, building my instagram community, and wishing i had the time to write a business plan. fast forward to today: i built a website for , i wrote that damn business plan (and calculated a detailed financial forecast), i established my business as an LLC, i set up a bank account for my business, i launched a crowdfunding campaign, and now have 100 individuals monetarily invested in my vision and am so close to confirming a location for my bakery.

i want to say i did it all by myself (because the entrepreneurial journey is a lonely one at times). but the truth is, it takes a community of support to accomplish these feats. i want to thank Jackelyn Dacanay, Courtney Simon, David Sterrett, Esq., Art Catapang, Eric Robichaud, Jeff Similien, Roody Lambert, Mark Waller, CPA, my incredible personal support system, and most of all to my community of loud girls!! all of these groups and individuals helped me persevere with words of encouragement, guidance, and new opportunities.

i set a very high fundraising goal and it is looking like this round will expire today, but this is by no means the end of my efforts to bring to the adult-use market in massachusetts. december is dedicated to restoring my mental energy, restructuring my investment offering, reimagining the future of my business, and securing a property for my bakery. i'll be back online in the new year with updates for you all. i hope everyone has a healthy and safe holiday season and if you'd like to contact me about investing in my vision, i'm just a phone call away.
