Finding amazing skies this winter…. the “worm” moon, was beautiful and bright. Walks with the mighty Pepper and my better half keep each cold morning and even ending walk magical!

This weekend we’ll be back at our favorite Cambridge Jazz Room, The Mad Monkfish for another night of swinging jazz and blues. Thrilled to have a new copy of of Terri Lyne Carrington’s “New Standards: 101 Lead Sheets by Women Composers”, It is literally the first collection of Female Jazz Composers I’ve ever seen… In my life. Let that sink in…. Yea. I pre-ordered this book the moment I heard about this fantastic project! So proud of all my female colleagues out there in the world creating a space of clarity and power for us all. Can’t wait to dive in! Shout out to Terri Lyne!!!!

This is what happens when you find out your favorite indestructible mic is being discontinued! Sadly blue mics is stopping all manufacturing of their live mics! They will be seriously missed from the live sound landscape….

It’s not everyday you get to meet one of your musical hero’s…. But today I had the pleasure of meeting one of mine! Mr. Yo Yo Ma. He was so genuine, loving and kind. So grateful that Mr. Ma was as beautiful as a human being as he is as a musician. We got to share a few laughs and a hug. Life is good 😊

A special morning celebrating my sweet babies 25th Birthday 🥳. So lucky to have them in our lives filling each day with love. When I grow up I want to be Forest!

Glorious morning on Eagle Lake, 4am drop in. Drifting in the middle of the lake with sunrise on the right and the moon and Jupiter on the left…. Heaven.

Spending time at one of my favorite places on earth…. Acadia National Park. Fresh air, nature and sky!
