At Vilna Shul, Shabbat is a Big Dill | Magazine | The Harvard Crimson With national attention trained on Harvard the past few months, engaging in Jewish spaces on campus has felt like more of a political endeavor. Pickle-making, gimmicky in all the right ways, was enough to get us out the door.

🔥This Friday! Fireside Chat with Local Artists

The Vilna, OneTable and the Jewish Arts Collaborative (JARTS) are teaming up for a special Friday night Shabbat experience for young professionals. Our evening will include spirited services, inspired food and drink, and a fireside chat with social justice artist Nayana LaFond and JARTS Executive Director Laura Mandel. Nayana LaFond is one of the social justice artists whose work is featured at the Be The Change art and activism initiative at Fenway this fall. Nayana will share the meaning and inspiration behind her public art installation.

This event is part of The Vilna's Havurah on the Hill program. Havurah on the Hill is a monthly Friday night Shabbat experience for young professionals.
