SEE THE STEEL POT-SLINGING, FLAME-THROWING, HIGH OCTANE CHEF ACTION!!!
Come to Eastern Standard in Boston tonight, where my special chef wine dinner dishes will be available all night in the dining room for a la carte ordering (green crab & lovage soup, spaghetti chitarra with sea urchin & bottarga, black sea bass with Swiss chard, grilled Sardinian-style lamb, crespelle with local blueberries and almond cream.)

AS WELL AS:
• Ceviche of local surf clams with anise hyssop and local cucumbers.
• Mussels steamed in white wine with green garlic scapes and green peppercorns.
• Broiled tinker mackerel fillet with a saffron mayonnaise soufflé over arugula.
• Pappardelle with a Tuscan-style wild boar ragù.
• Farmers’ Market greens salad with a smoked heirloom tomato vinaigrette and gold cherry tomatoes.

To all of my dear friends and beloved customers, it is now officially out into the World that I have taken root in the kitchen at Alcove restaurant, next to Boston Garden.
I would love to see you all, and be able to cook for you once again.
My strong suggestion is to come in on a night when there are no games, or events at The Garden, or after 7:30 pm on any night, to avoid the game rush. That way I can stop by to say hello, and catch up on our gazette of days.

For those of you who posted comments about not being available to join us for the mushroom dinner next Wed., you are in luck: Because of weather forecasts predicting heavy rains that night (and much of the seating for The Buttery being outside,) we’re moving the date to the following Wed. (Nov. 3)
That move will inevitably open up some spaces in the previously sold-out dinner!
