Meet Pooja Jhaveri, our final judge!
Pooja Jhaveri isn't just a dancer, she's a force in the Boston Bhangra community! Since 2013, she's been captivating audiences and inspiring fellow dancers as a captain of the New England Bhangra Club and a member of FAUJ.
Her talent extends far beyond the USA. Pooja has taken her passion international, competing in Australia and Canada! Now, she brings her expertise to the judging panel, having graced stages at Bruin Bhangra, Bhangra in the Burgh, and Bhangra Blowout.
As a judge, Pooja seeks creativity, flawless ex*****on, and a deep respect for Bhangra's traditional roots.

Meet Harmeet Singh!
Harmeet's love for Bhangra started with his father, Ravi Dhaliwal, who instilled a deep passion for Punjabi music in him. This passion led Harmeet to co-found the Seattle-based Apna Bhangra Crew (ABC) in 2006!
Harmeet and ABC dominated the competition scene from 2007-2019, winning numerous titles across North America. But his love goes beyond trophies. Harmeet's dedication to sharing Bhangra with the next generation led him to start teaching in 2009.
In 2017, Harmeet and his friends took it a step further, founding the ABC Dance Center, a thriving community for over 300 students of all ages! He's even coached the all-girls ABC team to 8 placings!
More than just winning, Harmeet's passion is keeping Punjabi culture alive through the joy of Bhangra. It's no surprise he's a sought-after judge, including gracing the stages of Bruin Bhangra and Boston Bhangra!

Guransh started his bhangra journey in 2014 and hasn't stopped since. He captained both Bruin Bhangra and his co-founded team Farishtey, leading them to success at competitions across the country. Meet Amrit Singh Grewal (ASG), Judge at the 2024 Boston Bhangra Competition!
Here's a glimpse into his incredible journey:
🔹 ASG kicked off his career in 2009 with Sohney Gabroo Punjab De (SGPD) and even danced live with Rooh Punjab Dee!
🔹 With a passion for sharing Bhangra, ASG founded the Toronto All-Star Girls (TAG Bhangra), an inspiring all-girls Bhangra team.
🔹 ASG's choreography for both TAG Bhangra and SGPD is renowned for its unique blend of tradition and fresh energy.
🔹 ASG's dedication extends to teaching Bhangra at HOB and sharing his musical talents on Soundcloud.
🔹 With over 7 Bhangra competitions under his belt, including Elite 8, WIBC, Fever, Burgh, Big Apple Bhangra, and Bruin, ASG brings a wealth of experience to the judging panel.

The Boston Bhangra Juniors Team has been dancing and performing at events since 2006!
There was a demand for a competitive juniors team that could learn from the seniors team and grow into potentially becoming future bhangra leaders. This team has performed at temples and community events, just to name a few!
